How do you solve a sliding puzzle?

Solve it row by row from the top, placing the last two tiles of each row as a pair. When two rows remain, solve column by column from the left, then rotate the final three tiles around the empty corner. The Slide Puzzle tutor shows each move with an arrow and explains it.

When two rows remain, solve them column by column from the left, again two tiles at a time.
Rotate the final three tiles around the empty corner until the puzzle clicks into place.
